Vital Questions

Exploring the ideas that shape how we understand reality, purpose, and meaning — with honesty, evidence, and an open mind.

"Arm ourselves with the best ideas and then walk in them by beginning with facing the real questions."

What questions are you wrestling with?

Everyone lives by ideas — whether we examine them or not. Pick a question that interests you, or just type your own below.

Our Approach

This resource is built on the conviction that truth matters, questions deserve honest answers, and the evidence should be followed wherever it leads.

Ideas Matter

Ideas ultimately determine the kind of people we'll become. If "ideas don't matter," then the idea that "ideas don't matter" doesn't matter either — a self-defeating claim. We believe the most important thing anyone can do is arm themselves with the best ideas and then walk in them by facing the real questions.

Listen Before Speaking

As Ravi Zacharias put it: "The most important thing we do is basically bridging the head to the heart... not just giving an answer theoretically, but listening to the person." Everyone has different barriers — intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual — and they all deserve to be heard.

Faith and Reason Together

God isn't against thinking. Romans 12:2 tells us to renew our minds. As Augustine wrote: "Understanding is the reward of faith." Naturalism cannot account for objective ethics, consciousness, or knowledge — domains that point beyond the material. Faith goes beyond reason but never against it.

Honest About Uncertainty

We don't claim to have all the answers. Some topics are genuinely difficult — the problem of evil, biblical inspiration, science and faith. We present the evidence, acknowledge counterarguments, and trust that honest inquiry honors truth.

Open to All

"All are welcome as we will be assessing these topics as objectively as possible." Whether you're a skeptic, seeker, or lifelong believer, you belong in this conversation. We only ask that you bring an honest willingness to follow the evidence.

Relationship Over Debate

We INVEST in relationships and build bridges for Jesus to walk from our hearts to theirs. Our goal is simply to help someone take the next honest step. Conversion is the work of the Holy Spirit, not the result of winning an argument.
